The European Commission’s Transport and Research and Innovation Monitoring and Information System (TRIMIS) monitors the implementation and effectiveness of the roadmaps developed by the Strategic Transport Research and Innovation Agenda (STRIA). TRIMIS analyses technology trends, research and innovation capacities and developments in the European transport sector, providing open-access information.

New articles, entitled “The Integration of an Urban Seaborne Transport System to the City’s Socio-Economic Environment through the Enhancement of Multimodal Interoperability” and “Evaluation of the Quality of Bicycle Infrastructure in the City of Larissa, Greece: Technical Specifications versus User Perception.” will be presented at the Sixth International Conference on Environmental Management, Engineering, Planning and Economics (CEMEPE) and the SECOTOX Conference that will be jointly held in Thessaloniki, Greece, from June 25 to 30, 2017.

New article publication in Transportation Research Procedia, entitled “Assessment of the marginal social cost due to congestion using the speed flow function“.

Was awarded the title of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the Civil Engineering Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. The doctoral dissertation was entitled “Development of speed-flow correlation models within interrupted traffic flow conditions for the dynamic assessment of air pollution”, supervised by Professor Spyros Vougias.
